Dale grew up immersed in the property insurance industry, with his mother serving as an executive overseeing claims for some of the largest property insurance carriers in the country. His lifelong exposure to the field has provided him with an unparalleled understanding of the industry, encompassing all facets—from estimating to sales to adjusting. Now, as co-owner of Crossroads Insurance Recovery Advocates alongside his son, John Terry, Dale leads the fastest-growing public insurance adjusting firm in Texas, delivering unmatched expertise and service to policyholders.
Dale’s experience includes deployment on more than 20 hurricane events, 30 flood events, and thousands of residential and commercial fire losses. With tremendous “hands-on” knowledge of the first-party property claim recovery industry, he is a trusted advocate for policyholders, ensuring they receive the care and compensation they deserve.
Dale’s greatest pride is his family, supported by his loving wife, Geri, and their two successful adult children. John, a recent LSU graduate and his business partner at Crossroads, and Katheryn, who has already graduated from Texas State University, continue to make him proud with their achievements.
Outside of work, Dale is an avid outdoorsman and craftsman. He enjoys gardening, boating, fishing, hunting, and helping build custom houses. Whether guiding his team at Crossroads or spending time outdoors, Dale’s passion and dedication shine in all that he does.
John is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Crossroads Insurance Recovery Advocates, leveraging over seven years of expertise in public adjusting and a proven track record in operational leadership. Since joining the family business in 2018, John has played a pivotal role in enhancing the firm’s reputation for excellence and delivering unmatched advocacy for clients.
As COO, John oversees day-to-day operations, including claims processing, customer service, and policy administration, ensuring efficiency and compliance with state and federal insurance regulations. He collaborates closely with departmental leaders to align operational practices with industry trends and regulatory requirements while driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as AI-powered claims processing and CRM systems, to improve performance.
John is dedicated to optimizing key performance indicators, including claims resolution times, customer satisfaction, and operational costs. His strategic approach focuses on enhancing policyholder experiences through faster claims resolution, improved communication, and innovative solutions. Working alongside the CFO, he also manages budgets for various departments and identifies cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in International Economics, John combines his academic background with hands-on experience to implement strategies that drive growth and achieve financial targets. His leadership fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring that Crossroads remains a trusted partner for clients navigating complex insurance claims.
Outside of his professional life, John is an avid practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a passionate musician who enjoys playing the drums and piano. With his commitment to excellence and a client-first mindset, John continues to shape the future of Crossroads with innovation, strategy, and operational expertise.
Maddie is a native Houstonian with over eight years of experience in the public adjusting industry, currently serving as the Manager of the Contents Department at Crossroads Insurance Recovery Advocates, LLC. Before joining the team, she attended Lone Star Community College, where she developed essential skills that now contribute to her leadership in managing payroll, data entry, and customer service operations. As a public adjuster specializing in personal property, Maddie oversees the contents claims process, ensuring thorough documentation, precise assessment, and strong advocacy for the replacement of damaged items. Her expertise in record keeping and financial management ensures that each claim is meticulously processed, providing clients with confidence and peace of mind as they navigate the complexities of insurance recovery.
In her managerial role, Maddie works closely with both her team and clients, guiding the assessment and valuation of personal belongings while negotiating fair settlements with insurance companies. Her ability to lead and inspire her team, combined with her passion for advocacy and attention to detail, ensures that every client receives top-tier service during their most challenging times. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending quality time with her children, Aiden and Avery, supporting her son at baseball tournaments, attending Muay Thai classes with her daughter, and staying active at the gym. She also enjoys spoiling their two dogs, Athena and Sugar, at their home in Katy, Texas.
Deidra’s tenured background in the insurance, construction and mitigation industries adds to the extensive credibility of the entire Crossroads team. She possesses more than 17 years of experience in the preparation support, and final adjustment of both residential and commercial claim recoveries. Before joining Crossroads, Deidra was a commercial claims adjuster for one of the nation’s largest insurance carriers, working in their large-loss division. She maintains a well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of insurance claim adjustment, as well as the mitigation and reconstruction of both residential and commercial properties. Deidra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement and police science from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She currently maintains her Property and Casualty Adjusters License for Texas and resides in Northwest Houston with her husband, Peter, and son, Colton, where she devotes her leisure time to family and the rescue and fostering of homeless and injured pets available for adoption through Dori’s Darlings.
Amy has been a dedicated member of Crossroads since 2018, starting her career at just 17 years old. Initially handling administrative tasks, she quickly developed a keen understanding of the insurance and restoration industry that her father had worked in for 14 years, before she herself became a licensed public adjuster in 2021. Her background in technology, including monitoring radio systems and working in a dispatch center, has equipped her with exceptional organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail to her work as an adjuster.
Specializing in the personal property and contents portion of claims, Amy is known for her thoroughness and compassion. She is an IICRC Certified Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician and has served as a public notary for three years. Her commitment to clients is evident in her meticulous approach to evaluating property damage due to fire or disasters, ensuring that policyholders receive the care and compensation they deserve.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, exploring the outdoors, and engaging in educational activities. With a strong curiosity and a passion for continuous self-improvement, she is always driven to find answers to questions to expand her knowledge and expertise.
Myke brings discipline, leadership, and a results-driven mindset to Crossroads Insurance Recovery Advocates. A former U.S. Marine, he served with honor and distinction during his 8-year enlistment, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2014. His military experience forged his ability to lead under pressure, work as part of a highly effective team, and maintain an unwavering commitment to excellence—qualities he now applies as a public adjuster.
With a background in sales, leadership, and process development, Myke has developed a keen ability to navigate complex situations and advocate for policyholders. He attended Santa Barbara City College for Business Administration, further honing his skills in negotiation and strategic problem-solving. As a Licensed Public Adjuster in Texas, Oklahoma, and Georgia, Myke is dedicated to ensuring clients receive the full compensation they are entitled to under their policies.
Myke is Xactimate Certified Levels 1 & 2, giving him the technical expertise to accurately assess and document property damage. His strong work ethic and commitment to doing the right thing make him a relentless advocate for his clients.
Outside of work, Myke is a devoted family man who enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their dog, Anova. An avid outdoorsman, he loves hunting, camping, and exploring nature. His passion for adventure and commitment to excellence define both his personal and professional life, making him an invaluable asset to the Crossroads team.
Marshall brings a sharp analytical mind and a diverse background to Crossroads Insurance Recovery Advocates.He served five years in the U.S. Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst and Chinese Mandarin Linguist, where he developed exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. His military experience honed his ability to process complex information quickly—an invaluable asset in the world of public adjusting.
After completing his service, Marshall earned a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin. His passion for research and uncovering hidden details translates seamlessly into his work, ensuring that no element of a claim goes overlooked. He is committed to advocating for policyholders and ensuring fair and accurate settlements.
Outside of work, Marshall has a creative and adventurous spirit. He enjoys designing objects in CAD and 3D printing, cooking, skiing, outdoor activities, traveling, and watching movies. He also loves spending time with his girlfriend and their cat. His well-rounded interests and intellectual curiosity make him a valued member of the Crossroads team.
